How I Built the Paddleix Website from Scratch
Paddleix is one of those projects that I’ve been deeply involved in from the very beginning—and I’ve loved every part of it.
When I joined, there was no website at all. No design, no layout, nothing. Just an idea: build a clean, modern site for pickleball players to find gear, read helpful info, and enjoy a smooth shopping experience.
That’s where I came in. I designed and built the entire website from scratch using WordPress. Everything you see on Paddleix.com—from the homepage to the product pages—was created by me, step by step.
What I Did
Here’s what I worked on to bring the Paddleix site to life:
✅ Built the site using WordPress + WooCommerce
✅ Designed clean, easy-to-use pages with Elementor
✅ Made sure the site works well on both desktop and mobile
✅ Created a smooth shopping experience that’s easy to follow
✅ Organized the layout so visitors can quickly find what they’re looking for
✅ Optimized images and pages so the site loads fast
✅ Made sure everything fits the Paddleix brand style—simple, friendly, and helpful
I focused on making the site feel clear and trustworthy, especially for first-time visitors. The layout is simple, the buttons are easy to spot, and the content is designed to be helpful and beginner-friendly.
My Design Approach
When designing Paddleix, I had one main goal: keep it clean, fast, and easy to use.
I wanted the site to feel like it was made for real people—not too flashy, not too complicated. Whether you’re brand new to pickleball or already deep into tournaments, you should feel comfortable using the site.
I made sure the shopping part was simple, the blog was easy to read, and everything looked good on phones, too.
Key Pages I Designed
At Paddleix, I designed and built all the core pages to create a smooth, user-friendly experience:

-
📦 Gear Pages – Focused pages for indoor pickleball equipment

I also created key legal and support pages:

Final Thoughts
If you take a look at Paddleix.com, you’ll see the full site I’ve built—from the layout and design to the smooth flow between pages.
I’m proud of how it turned out. It’s simple, fast, and built for real players who just want to find good gear and learn more about the game they love.
For me, web design isn’t just about making things look good. It’s about making things work well, feel natural, and serve the people who use them. That’s exactly what I aimed for with Paddleix.
